A lifelong learner and forward-thinker, Cristina is the creator of Is This Real?, an AI-hosted podcast that explores the intersection of marketing, AI, and emerging technologies.

Cristina Peñaloza Morales is a Marketing & Communications Adjunct Professor at IE University, where she shares her deep expertise in digital marketing and technology with the next generation of innovators. With an MSc in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Cristina bridges the worlds of business and technology to craft forward-thinking strategies.

Over the past 20+ years, Cristina has built an impressive career in the digital marketing and technology sectors. She’s held key roles including Marketing Leader and Technology Consultant. Earlier in her career, she founded and led her own digital marketing agency, where she helped clients stand out through innovative strategies. Her journey includes leadership positions at renowned companies like Telefónica, Huawei, Capgemini, and LLYC, where she contributed to marketing, consultancy, sales, product management, and automation strategies.

Beyond the corporate world, Cristina has channeled her creativity into unique projects. She is the creator of Talking Bits, a series of short, AI-driven videos featuring her digital avatar, designed to share fresh insights and innovative ideas. She also served as a committee organizer for TEDxCibeles, helping bring inspiring talks and ideas to the community. Her commitment to driving innovation and creativity has been a constant throughout her career.

Cristina’s credentials are as robust as her experience, with certifications from HubSpot (Marketing Software, Sales Software, Digital Advertising, Reporting & Data-Driven Business) and Google (Analytics), among others. She is also a dedicated mentor in IE’s Women 2 Women Mentors program, reflecting her passion for empowering others.
